Diagne-Faye is latest Bolton arrival

Senegalese international
The 27-year-old Senegalese international, linking up with compatriot El Hadji Diouf, has been training with Bolton for several weeks, having been lent last season to relegated FC Istres. He joined Lens in 2002 from Senegalese champions Jeanne D'Arc of Dakar, and can play in the centre of defence or as a midfield anchorman.

European campaigns
Bolton, who recruited Mexican striker Jared Borgetti yesterday for €1.4m, will enter the UEFA Cup in the first round on 15 and 29 September. Lens, meanwhile, continue their UEFA Intertoto Cup campaign tomorrow with the away leg of their semi-final against VfL Wolfsburg.
