The 31-year-old centre-back was hurt after colliding with Athletic Club Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente during the final moments of last night's 2-2 draw at the Mestalla and club medical officials expect the Argentinian to sit out at least the UEFA Cup first-leg tie against Steaua on 16 February. The return fixture of the last 32 meeting will be on 24 February in Bucharest.
