Kaboul ruled out for Auxerre

Scans confirm injury
The 18-year-old limped out of Saturday's 3-0 Ligue 1 loss at RC Strasbourg and scans carried out on Tuesday showed a serious problem with his right ankle. Coach Guy Roux admitted: "He is young and made the mistake of playing while he was already injured."

Remaining fixtures
Auxerre, who have one point from two Group F games, sit out Matchday 3 tonight but return to action on 2 December at home to KS Amica Wronki, and 13 days later end their fixtures at Rangers FC. Kaboul was replaced at the weekend by Jean-Sébastien Jaurès, who has recovered from a knee injury.
