The 26-year-old Ivory Coast forward was taken off after just 15 minutes of the 1-0 home win against AC Ajaccio in Ligue 1 and will be sidelined for at least two weeks following scans on his damaged muscle.

The former Feyenoord player, who has scored six goals in 15 games this season, is likely to miss the Group F match against KS Amica Wroncki at the Abbé-Deschamps stadium on 2 December. Auxerre lie fourth in the section with one point from two games.
