The important thing was to get the three points which we did. It's even more comforting to have done so without conceding any goals. However, we didn't have as much possession as we would have liked and at times we suffered because we were too anxious. We're in a very equal group, especially now after the result between Lille and Zenit. Winning away from home in Europe is extremely difficult and it's clear that we are going to have to fight for every single point. Sevilla coach Joaquín Caparrós
They were slightly better, although we performed very well and Sevilla didn't have any more chances than those which led to the goals. Aachen striker Erik Meijer
We thought that Zenit were a good team and we were not wrong. That makes our win even more valuable. The game was decided during a great first half where we played really well. We couldn't keep the ball in their half and continually pressed after the break - that became a problem physically. But we held on thanks our togetherness and bravery. Lille coach Claude Puel
We discovered how hard European football can be during a first half in which we were not focused enough and not disciplined enough. I told my players that during half-time and we dominated the second half without getting the goal we needed to go back home with the point we expected. Zenit coach Vlastimil Petrzela
