Top scorers
Auxerre are third in Ligue 1 and the division's top scorers after a 3-0 home victory over RC Lens on Saturday and coach Guy Roux has playmaker Yann Lachuer available again after a heavy cold. Lachuer will likely replace Lionel Mathis, although key defenders Jean-Sébastien Jaurès and Johan Radet are still missing.
Ehmann fit for GAK
GAK, who beat SV Austria Salzburg 1-0 at the weekend, have never got through more than two rounds of a European competition and coach Walter Schachner warned they would "have to be very careful" against a "very offensive and dangerous team". Captain Anton Ehmann should be fit to play but René Aufhauser may miss out due to a thigh strain. Martin Amerhauser, Gregor Pötscher and Daniel Pirker, who damaged ankle ligaments on Sunday, are absent.
'Difficult' for Amica
Tonight's other match in the section pits KS Amica Wronki against Rangers FC. Amica, whose only notable absentee is Arkadiusz Bak, continued their bright start to the season by beating Wisla Plock 2-1 last weekend. Their coach, Maciej Skorza, expects an "extremely difficult" evening, however. "I have young team who lack experience in the European club competitions. I will ask my players to battle hard," he said.
Ball back
Rangers are without full-backs Maurice Ross and Paolo Vanoli, so manager Alex McLeish has included Scotland Under-19 defender Steven Campbell in his squad as well as Michael Ball, who will be on the bench for the first time this season. Danish winger Peter Løvenkrands returns too, after missing Sunday's 2-0 win over Motherwell FC because of personal problems.
