'Threatened by relegation'
The Norwegian side lost the first leg 4-0 in France, but it is their indifferent Tippeligaen form which has prompted the departure of Larsen. "We're threatened by relegation and had to do something about it," said Stabæk's sports director Jan Erik Aalbu.
Berg in charge
Pål Berg takes temporary charge and will lead the team for the first time tomorrow in the second leg of the UEFA Cup first-round tie. Former Stabæk striker Petter Belsvik is among the back-up staff.
