Groclin bring in reinforcements

Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski have signed Robert Gorski and Adrian Sikora, the latter to replace Andrzej Niedzielan.

Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski have signed two new players as they prepare for the third round of the UEFA Cup.

New striker
The last remaining Polish side in the competition have brought in striker Adrian Sikora from KS Górnik Zabrze as a replacement for Andrzej Niedzielan who left the club to join Dutch side NEC Nijmegen. The 24-year-old Sikora made two appearances for Poland during their December trip to Malta, scoring his first international goal in the process. He has signed a four-year deal with his new club.

Defensive cover
Meanwhile, Groclin have also signed the 28-year-old left-back Robert Gorski on a free transfer. Gorski last played in the Ekstraklasa with Odra Wodzislaw last term and has been brought in to fill a position which has been regarded as a weak spot for Groclin all season. Groclin take on FC Girondins de Bordeaux in the UEFA Cup third round.
