Double arrival
The 29-year-old Petkovic, capped eight times by his country, joins from German side VfL Wolfsburg on a three-year contract. Meanwhile, 24-year-old Zoah has agreed a four-year deal in a switch from Orlando Pirates FC in South Africa.
Scala signings
The duo are the first players to arrive at the club under new coach Nevio Scala. The Italian landed the job after the end of a disastrous 2003 season, which saw the club's worst-ever Russian Championship finish of tenth. However, Spartak are still in the UEFA Cup and will welcome RCD Mallorca to Moscow for a third round first-leg match on 26 February. The return follows a week later.
