AC Perugia have signed Argentinian left-back Carlos Arano on loan from Serie A rivals AC Siena for the rest of the season, with Konstantinos Loumpoutis heading in the opposite direction.
Loan moves
The 23-year-old Arano joined Siena last summer from RC de Avellaneda in his homeland but did not break into the first team. Greek left-sided midfield player Loumpuotis has played 15 Serie A matches for Perugia since joining in 2002.
PSV test
UEFA Intertoto Cup winners Perugia will face PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Cup third round on 26 February and 3 March, but are still searching for their first Serie A victory this season.
