Article body
International call
The 23-year-old was hurt after 14 minutes of the Primera División match against Real Betis Balompié, which the Catalan side won 2-1. Ronaldinho will still travel to Peru to join the rest of the Brazil squad for Sunday's 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Lima but only to be examined by the team's medical staff.
European absence
Ronaldinho, who has scored four goals in eleven league games this season, will also miss the second leg of Barça's UEFA Cup tie against Greek side Panionios NFC at Camp Nou on 27 November.
