Although the club will not disclose details of the injury until after Álvarez has undergone a scan tomorrow, he will miss the UEFA Cup first round second-leg tie at Turkish side Trabzonspor next week. Álvarez, who is likely to be replaced by Fabricio Coloccini, said: "It's another setback because we only have a small squad. I'll just have to work hard and try and recover as quickly as I can."
