Inker promotion
Last season the 58-year-old led NK Inker Zaprešic back into the first top flight while also coaching at Dinamo's youth academy. He then returned to Dinamo in a full-time capacity as sports director.
'Big ambitions'
"I agreed with the club that if I received any interesting offers from abroad, that I could leave," he said. "When I received the offer from Libya I wanted to try it. I was there for four days and signed a contract. They have big ambitions and I saw good working conditions." Dinamo face MTK Hungária FC in the first leg of their UEFA Cup first-round tie on 24 September.
