Three-and-a-half year deal
The attacking midfield player could make his debut against Hammarby on 17 August after signing a three-and-a-half year deal with his new club, who finished second in the Swedish Allsvenskan last year. They currently lie fourth.
'Very high potential'
Malmö director of sport Hasse Borg said of the 23-year-old: "Tobias has got great potential and will be a huge asset to Malmö FF." Grahn, who has also played for Denmark's Lyngby FC, Portuguese side SC Beira-Mar and Östers IF in Sweden, will be ineligible for the UEFA Cup qualifying round. Malmö welcome Northern Irish team Portadown FC to Sweden for the first leg on Thursday with the return two weeks later.
