Third time lucky
The 31-year-old defensive midfield player said after signing a two-year deal that it was third time lucky for La Louvière, following the club's earlier attempts to sign him. "This was the third time that Louviéroise were interested in me," he said.
Returns to Belgium
Previously he had opted for moves to R.Charleroi SC and Mannheim, but this time he chose to return to Belgium with the Tivoli stadium club despite interest from R. Standard de Liège. "The people like chairman Filippo Gaone and coach Ariël Jacobs were very honest and nice to me," he said. "I did not even compare the other proposals that I had received."
