Sartid sort it with Dostanic

Ratko Dostanic has been named the new coach of Serbo-Montenegrin Cup winners FK Sartid.

European challenge
Dostanic, who led FK Obilic to a seventh-placed finish in Serbia and Montenegro last season, said he was looking forward to the challenge of competing in Europe. Sartid will face Bosnia-Herzegovnian Cup winners FK Sarajevo in the UEFA Cup qualifying round in August.

'An organised club'
"Participation in Europe was decisive when it came to choosing Sartid," he said. "They are an organised club playing for the second consecutive season in the UEFA Cup."

Domestic ambitions
The 43-year-old - a former assistant to Slavoljub Muslin at FK Crvena Zvezda and PFC Levski Sofia - was also looking forward to the challenge of making Sartid competitive on the home front. "I am convinced it is time that some other clubs got into the title mix with Crvena Zvezda and [FK] Partizan."
