Hospital treatment
Inzaghi suffered the fracture following a collision with Walter Samuel during last night's 2-1 Coppa Italia defeat by AS Roma. He was substituted in the 37th minute and taken to San Giacomo hospital in the Italian capital.
Three goals
The 26-year-old will definitely miss both legs of the UEFA Cup fourth-round tie against Polish side Wisla Kraków later this month. Inzaghi has already scored three goals in the competition this season, including two in the third round against SK Sturm Graz.
Fourth season
Capped twice by Italy, Inzaghi is in his fourth season at the Stadio Olimpico. He has played eleven Serie A matches this campaign to help Lazio to fourth in the table, although he has just one league goal to his name. Lazio welcome Wisla to Rome for the first leg of the UEFA Cup tie on 20 February.
