Article summary
Paris Saint-Germain FC coach Luis Fernandez will be without Paulo César for the UEFA Cup second round.
Article body
Brazilian midfield player Paulo César will miss both legs of Paris Saint-Germain FC's UEFA Cup second-round tie against FC National Bucuresti after twisting his knee at the weekend.
Nine-man victory
The 24-year-old will be sidelined for at least a month - ruling him out of Luis Fernandez's plans for the 31 October and 14 November games against National - after he left the field in pain during the Ligue 1 meeting with ES Troyes Aube Champagne on Saturday. With one player sent off and having used all their substitutes, PSG finished with nine players but still won 2-1.
Impressive performer
A player who just missed out on a place in Luiz Felipe Scolari's victorious FIFA World Cup squad, Paulo César has been an impressive performer since moving to the Parc des Princes from Fluminense FC in June.
