FC Midtjylland 3-0 NK Pobeda (Midtjylland win 3-2 on aggregate)
FC Midtjylland produced a sparkling display to overturn a two-goal deficit and book their place in the UEFA Cup with a thrilling extra-time victory over F.Y.R. Macedonia's FK Pobeda.
Jessen winner
Trailing 2-0 from the first leg of this qualifying round tie, the Danes struck twice through Razak Pimpong and Frank Kristensen to level the aggregate scores at 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes. Then, with just five minutes of extra time remaining, Jens Jessen popped up to score the winning goal.
Pimpong header
After a goalless first half, Pimpong broke the deadlock in the 59th minute, heading home from close range after a cross from Christian Magleby. Kristensen made it 2-0 on 79 minutes, hammering the ball into the top right-hand corner from the edge of the box, after being played in by Jessen.
Lobs goalkeeper
The stage was then set for Jessen, who raced on to a pass from Pimpong and sent a lob over the advancing Podeba goalkeeper Zavisa Pejic with the clock showing 115 minutes.
