Back on 4 May
Dede underwent an arthroscopy on his knee on Friday, which revealed the partial rupture of the meniscus. According to Dortmund's medical staff, the 23-year old Brazilian should be back in action for the last 1. Bundesliga match of the season against SV Werder Bremen on 4 May. In this case Dede will be available for the UEFA Cup final against Feyenoord four days later.
Joined in 1998
The Brazilian joined Borussia Dortmund in July 1998. This season he has played 27 league matches, scoring one goal, and made 15 appearances in European competition.
