José Mourinho's side had a comfortable night in Ukraine, two goals in the space of three minutes from Englishmen Chris Smalling and Tammy Abraham setting the seal on victory. Stephan El Shaarawy had them in front inside ten minutes, but it took until the second half for Smalling's tap-in and Abraham's effort to end the contest.

José Mourinho, Roma coach: "The result is what I liked the most tonight, and the result is what matters most. We won, and it's important to be on six points, one step closer to qualification. We were able to rest some players and we didn't pick up injuries: all positive. It's always important to win, and we want to transfer this to the league."
