Tips for using the Metro 💡

For wheelchair users / people with reduced / limited mobility 🧑‍🦽🩼

Metro line 1: Board / disembark using the first door of the first car. Please note that Omonia & Monastiraki stations in the city centre have large gaps between the platform and trains, so you may need to ask for a movable ramp and assistance.

Metro lines 2 & 3: Board / disembark in the first or last car. This will be relevant for those taking the metro line 3 from the airport to Syntagma in the city centre.

For blind / partially sighted people 🧑‍🦯🦯

If you require assistance, please seek the help of station staff who can support with boarding and your destination station to continue the support. Most stations have tactile paving inside the station.

Accessible toilets 🚾

All metro stations have toilets free for disabled people. Toilets are locked so you will need to notify station staff if you wish to use the facilities.

🏟️ Travel to the stadium

By public transport 🚇

The nearest metro station to AEK Arena is Perissós, located northbound on Metro Line 1 from the city centre. The station has elevator access from street level to both platforms and tactile paving around the station.

City centre stations located on metro line 1 include Omonia (close to the Fan Festival at Kotzia Square) and Monastiraki. Both stations have elevator access from street level to the platform.

🧭 Recommended route

1️⃣ Head to Thissio station on Metro line 1.
2️⃣ Take Metro M1 northbound to Perissós Station
3️⃣ Exit the station and the stadium is approx. 1km away. Volunteers will be along the route should you require any assistance.

🚐 A free shuttle service will operate between Perissós station and the stadium. When leaving the station, turn left and the pick-up point is located to the south end of the station. The service will operate post-match from the drop-off location at the stadium.

⏱️ From approx. 30 minutes

⚠️ Public transport will be busy on matchday. Allow additional time when travelling as journeys may take longer.

By car with pre-booked parking 🚗

All accessibility parking passes are allocated during the ticket lottery window. Please only drive if your application is successful. Accessible parking is located in P4, located approx. 200m from the stadium entrance. Volunteers will be located on the route to support ticket holders.

🚐 A free shuttle service will operate between the car parking and the stadium. The service will operate post-match from the drop-off location at the stadium.

Car parking opening hours are 16:00 – 03:00.

By taxi or rideshare 🚕

Remember that extensive traffic restrictions will be in place around the stadium. If you must travel by taxi to and from the stadium, please use the designated taxi pick-up points when booking:

Apostolakis, Nea Chalkidona (1.5 km south of the stadium)

Tatoiou & E. Venizelou (1.8 km north of the stadium)

Tickets 📲

All tickets will be mobile tickets and delivered via the UEFA Mobile Tickets app. Our ticketing team will provide updates by email in the lead-up to the final.

There are two types of accessibility tickets available for UEFA Europa Conference League final – Wheelchair User tickets and Easy Access tickets. A complimentary companion ticket can be added to your order during the ticket payment window.

Accessible parking 🚗

Accessible parking passes can be requested during the ticket payment process for successful applicants. Our ticketing team will allocate passes on a first-come, first-served basis and will inform all applicants. Please be aware that there are a limited number of accessible parking passes available and requests are not guaranteed.

Gates & security 📍

All gates will open at 19:00 local time. It is advised to enter the stadium from the south-east direction from the junction between Leof. Dekelias and Fokon.

📍 Services at the stadium

Even if you have been to AEK Arena before, please keep in mind that things may work slightly differently than usual matchdays at the venue.

Volunteers 🙋

If you need assistance at the stadium, there will be a team of staff and volunteers on-site to assist with directions and answer any questions. Volunteers will show you to the accessible gates and the entrances / exits to accessible parking.

They will be wearing caps with the hashtag #FootbALL to help you spot them.

Audio descriptive commentary 🗣️

ADC commentary will be available in Greek, Italian and English via the Raydio app.

Wheelchairs on loan ♿

A limited number of wheelchairs are available. Please speak to a steward, a volunteer or ask at the ticketing office should you require the use of one.

Concessions 💳

Volunteers are available to assist with purchases at concession stands on-site.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs 🦮

If you are coming with a guide dog or an assistance dog, please contact the UEFA Ticketing team via this form in advance so you are sat accordingly. Please note, there are no designated dog relief facilities at the stadium.

🎉 Fan Festival accessibility

The Fan Festival celebrations will take place in Kotzia Square, a beautiful location in the heart of Athens, where you can join fellow fans and get into the matchday spirit.

📸 Don’t miss the chance to grab a photo with the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy. The display is fully accessible with ramp access. Volunteers will be on hand to help you access the display and take that all-important shot.

What if I need to bring specific food or drinks for medical reasons or my medication?

If you need to bring in anything for medical reasons, please obtain a medical exemption letter from your doctor in advance and present on entry to the stadium.

🎉 Fan Festival

Is the Fan Festival area accessible?

The Fan Festival is an open pedestrian space which is paved and suitable for people with mobility impairments. Please be aware that there is little natural shade in the square although there will be a few temporary covers in place.

Will accessible toilets be available?

Yes, accessible toilets will be available at the Fan Festival.

Is Kotzia Square easily accessible?

You can easily access the Fan Festival using Omonia metro station located 200m to the north.
