Gareth Bale made one and scored two to give Wales a victory in Israel that takes them to the top of UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying Group B.
Israel had not dropped a point before today but Wales were dominant from the off as Bale, Aaron Ramsey and Joe Allen entered the box with ease on several occasions. Defender James Collins had the first good chance but could not turn in Bale's cross.
However, it was 1-0 to the visitors before half-time. A long ball into the box found Bale, who looped up a header that was flicked past Ofir Marciano by Ramsey.
The second half started as the first had ended. Bale was now at full flight and Eytan Tibi fouled him on the edge of the box, picking up a booking. The Real Madrid CF forward's free-kick gave Marciano no chance.
Not long afterwards Tibi fouled Bale again and was dismissed. The third Wales goal came 13 minutes from time as Ramsey's accurate ball set up Bale for his second. Only a save from a tight angle by Marciano prevented a Bale hat-trick.
