Ukrainian football's hottest prospect Andriy Yarmolenko took time out from his preparations for the co-hosts' opening Group D game against Sweden on Monday to answers some users' tweets. UEFA.com selected the best #AskYarmolenko questions and put them to the 22-year-old midfielder, who is eagerly anticipating his first major tournament with the support of the nation firmly behind him.

Yarmolenko scored 12 goals in 28 games for FC Dynamo Kyiv last season but could not help the capital club wrest the title from FC Shakhtar Donetsk. He carried his good form into the pre-UEFA EURO 2012 friendlies, netting in the 4-0 triumph against Estonia, and with eight international goals in 20 appearances, Yarmolenko is certain to be one to watch in the coming weeks.

@joakim_svensson: Which player do you fear the most in the Swedish team?

Andriy Yarmolenko: My answer won't be surprising to you: it's got to be Zlatan Ibrahimović. He's had a great season and if there is anyone to be afraid of then it will be him.

@AlexFleg: Andriy, what do you think is the benefit of hosting EURO 2012 for Ukraine?

Yarmolenko: This tournament will help Ukraine to develop in the future. You can see it already, lots of stadiums have been built as well as very nice airports and hotels. Our country is developing.

@rhodesy_92: @EURO2012 How do you rate #Ukraine's chances this year & how well do you think England will do?

Yarmolenko: I really can't talk about our prospects. Our goal is to make it to the quarter-finals. If we achieve that goal then we will think of a new one. England are one of the best teams. The Premier League is one of the best domestic leagues. A lot of good players play there. Regarding their prospects, all I can say is that I hope we beat England.
