Four days after their first meeting, Bosnia and Herzegovina face Belarus for the second time with both sides bidding for one of the top slots in UEFA EURO 2012 Group D.
• Belarus have scored once and conceded once in their three games on the road in Group D, earning a 1-0 win and a 0-0 draw before losing 1-0 in Albania.
• The nations' Under-19 sides met in a UEFA European U19 Championship mini-tournament in Sarajevo on 1 October 2010, with Belarus winning 2-1.
• Clubs from the two nations have met in two UEFA club competition ties. FK Željezničar – then part of Yugoslavia – beat FC Dinamo Minsk, at the time a Soviet side, in the 1984/85 UEFA Cup quarter-finals, winning 2-0 at home and drawing 1-1 in Belarus.
• More recently, NK Široki Brijeg beat FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk 1-0 home and away in a 2006/07 UEFA Champions League first qualifying round tie.
