Arjen Robben has pulled out of the Netherlands' upcoming UEFA EURO 2012 qualifiers against Hungary after suffering a groin strain while playing for FC Bayern München on Saturday.
The forward limped off 30 minutes into Bayern's 2-1 win at SC Freiburg and, although his club have underlined that the injury is not serious, Robben has now pulled out of the Oranje's trip to face Group E rivals Hungary on Friday and their return encounter in Amsterdam the following Tuesday. Bert van Marwijk's side currently lead the section on 12 points from four games, with Hungary second, three points back.
