Fashion Week director becomes Friend of EURO

Volodymyr Nechyporuk, director of Ukrainian Fashion Week, predicts "football will be the most popular trend in the next few years" after becoming Ukraine's 19th Friend of EURO.

Volodymyr Nechyporuk, director of Ukrainian Fashion Week, has become the 19th Friend of UEFA EURO 2012 in Ukraine.

He said: "Fashion is not only clothes and accessories. Technology and innovation can also be in fashion. I think football will be the most popular trend over the next few years." Ukrainian tournament director Markiyan Lubkivskiy, meanwhile, was looking forward to the 28th Ukrainian Fashion Week, explaining that it helps promote the UEFA EURO 2012 co-host nation as "a modern European country keeping pace with the world".
