Retired coach Andrzej Strejlau and popular actor Maciej Stuhr have been named as the latest Friends of UEFA EURO 2012 in Poland.
Strejlau and Stuhr were unveiled as the co-host country's tenth and 11th representatives by Polish tournament director Adam Olkowicz on national television breakfast programme Kawa czy Herbata (Tea or Coffee).
"Such nominations are extremely important and this is an honour that follows on from my coaching career," Strejlau told UEFA.com. The 70-year-old is best known for assisting national coach Kazimierz Górski during Poland's football golden age of the 1970s.
Stuhr, an actor, comedian and impressionist, said: "I was always a big fan of the game and as a child I played every day, though of course I never made it professionally. So a nomination like this is something special for me. I also believe the coming tournament will be something special for everybody in Poland."
