Star turn
Over 1,000 fans gathered to watch the European champions in Seekirchen, and were rewarded with a full-blooded training session in which Otto Rehhagel's men looked invigorated as their 10 June Group D opener against Sweden draws closer. Striker Giannis Amanatidis was the star of the show, scoring a terrific goal and rattling another shot against the crossbar.
Sore thumb
Playmaker Giorgos Karagounis was also in action again, but trained apart from his team-mates. He is suffering with some swelling in his left knee and did little more than some light jogging. Medical staff were confident he would be able to play a more active role in Friday's session. There was similar optimism over defender Sotiris Kyrgiakos, who also trained alone because of groin pains, but goalkeeper Kostas Chalkias did not play on Thursday due to a sore thumb.
