Fresh faces
Brøndby IF midfielder Stefán Gíslason returns to the fold while there are first call-ups for FH Hafnarfjördur defender Sverrir Thór Gardarsson, Heart of Midlothian FC midfielder Eggert Jónsson and Everton FC midfielder Bjarni Vidarsson. Kári Árnason, Ólafur Örn Bjarnason, Ólafur Ingi Skúlason and Ívar Ingimarsson are omitted, and Indridi Sigurdsson is unavailable following shoulder surgery.
