Ireland in sights
The 29-year-old was not in the squad for Cyprus's impressive 3-1 defeat of Wales followed by their 1-1 draw in the Republic of Ireland last month due to injury but Konstantinou is back for the trip to Germany on 17 November and visit of the Czech Republic four days later. Both their opponents have already qualified, giving Cyprus hope of overturning a two-point deficit to Ireland, who only have one game left in Wales. Speedy attacker Estathios Aloneftis is also back from the suspension which ruled him out in Dublin.
