David Trezeguet has kept his place in the France squad for the vital qualifiers against Italy and Scotland having seemingly made peace with Raymond Domenech.

Vital games
The Juventus striker has not played for the national team since the 1-0 friendly defeat against Argentina in February and was believed to have fallen out with coach Domenech prior to being recalled for the friendly game against Slovakia earlier this month. The 69-times capped striker, who has scored 34 times for France, will now be in the reckoning as the Group B leaders meet Italy at the San Siro on 8 September prior to facing Scotland in Paris four days later.
