Article body
Lithuania coach Algimantas Liubinskas has recalled the experienced Aurimas Kučys and Audrius Kšanavičius for the friendly against Turkmenistan on 22 August.
Duo recalled
Kšanavičius, 30, won the last of his eight caps in February 2000 but the forward is back in the reckoning following his transfer to Scottish club Heart of Midlothian FC from FBK Kaunas. Defensive midfielder Kučys, 26, has been out of favour since June 2005 but his resurgent form since joining Latvian side FK Daugava has earned another chance. However, striker Edgaras Jankauskas, currently without a club, is omitted for the friendly in Kaunas, a warm-up for next month's UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifier in Scotland.
