Zlatan Ibrahimović has been included in Sweden's squad for their UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifiers with Denmark and Iceland - but defender Erik Edman and midfielder Kim Källström are out injured.
Ibrahimović hope
FC Internazionale Milano striker Ibrahimović seemed set to miss the trip to Denmark on 2 June and the visit of Iceland four days later, yet has recovered quicker than expected from a groin operation. Coach Lars Lagerbäck said: "Zlatan's rehabilitation after surgery has gone perfectly and he'll begin training with a football on Thursday and Friday, after which we can say more about his chances." Källström, who has a groin tear, has been replaced by Samuel Holmén, while Edman makes way for Fredrik Stenman due to his thigh complaint. Sweden lost their 100 per cent record in Group F to new leaders Northern Ireland in March but remain three points above Spain in second place.
