Back in midfield contention after suspension is Birmingham City FC captain Damien Johnson, but Sheffield Wednesday FC winger Chris Brunt and Hibernian FC wide man Ivan Sproule have been left out along with Leicester City FC's Gareth McAuley for Saturday's trip to Copenhagen, when captain Aaron Hughes of Aston Villa FC should win his 50th cap. The Latvia tie will be played next Wednesday in Belfast, where Northern Ireland beat Spain 3-2 in their last Group F outing.
