Mali provide Lithuanian preparation

Lithuania will warm up for their forthcoming UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifier against France with a friendly against Mali on 6 February in Paris.

With most of the Mali squad based in France, a meeting with the west Africans should offer Lithuania ideal preparation for the 24 March visit of Les Bleus to Kaunas. Lithuania's only previous full international against opposition from Africa was a 10-0 defeat by Egypt in 1924 - also in Paris. Algimantas Liubinskas's side currently lie fifth in Group B having collected four points from three games.
