Extended absence
The creative FC Spartak Moskva midfielder rejoins the 23-man squad for the game on 6 June along with defender Alexei Savinov, who has been out of the reckoning for over a year. FC Iskra-Stali midfielder Nicolae Josan and FC Tiraspol goalkeeper Stanislav Namasco are hoping to win their first competitive caps while the suspended forward Serghei Dadu and injured midfielders Andrei Corneencov and Stanislav Ivanov all miss out. Moldova are bottom of Group C with just two points from six games.
