Greek duo retain their places

Themistoklis Nikolaidis and Giorgos Karagounis have kept their places in Greece's UEFA EURO 2004™ squad.

Final selection
Rehhagel submitted his final selection today and made no changes to the squad he initially announced last month. Club Atletico de Madrid's Nikolaidis picked up a calf injury during a training session last week and doctors fear he might miss Greece's first two matches in Group A against Portugal and Spain. Meanwhile, FC Internazionale midfielder Giorgos Karagounis has been undergoing treatment for a swollen ankle.

Final warm-up
Greece play Liechtenstein tomorrow in their final warm-up before flying to Portugal on Sunday where they will face the host nation in the opening game of the tournament on 12 June.
