Baric gets to work

A day after touching down in Portugal, Croatia are fully focused on their first opponents Switzerland.

Training camp
Baric was speaking at a press conference today in his side's training camp in Estalgem do Sorraia, near the village of Couço around 90km east of Lisbon.

Baric thanks
"I want to thank our hosts here in the camp," he said. "The welcome was very nice and we are feeling excellent. Yesterday we had our first training session and everything went fine. From today we are going to work on tactics for the first game against Switzerland."

Slight worries
Baric has slight injury worries concerning Ancona Calcio midfield player Milan Rapaic and PFC CSKA Moskva forward Ivica Olic, but he remains confident both players will be available for Sunday's Group B game in Leiria. Juventus FC defender Igor Tudor, who also has a slight injury, will miss the match through suspension.
