Demand for tickets
The Group 4 match had been due to take place at the capital's Megyeri úti stadium, which is home to Újpesti TE, but has been switched to cope with the high demand for tickets.
Keep everyone happy
The Ferenc Puskás national stadium holds 30,000 compared with the Újpest ground's 13,000 capacity. Hungarian Football Federation (MLS) spokesman György Szöllosi said: "We have taken the game to the national stadium because we wouldn't want to say no to anyone wanting to see the game and support Imre Gellei's side."
Public interest
Hungary's previous home international, the Group 4 defeat by Sweden last month, drew a 28,000 crowd, and the MLS hopes the switch of venue will satisfy the increased level of public interest in the national team. Hungary are in fourth place in their qualifying section with five points from four matches.
