Article body
UEFA EURO 2004™ hosts Portugal have arranged to play two friendly internationals against Paraguay and Bolivia this summer.
Venues to be decided
Luiz Felipe Scolari's side will meet the Paraguayans on 6 June and four days later, on a Portuguese national holiday, they will face the Bolivians. Both matches will be in Portugal, but the Portuguese Football Federation have not yet confirmed which venues will be used.
Asia trip scrapped
The matches replace a planned trip to Asia which has been scrapped due to the SARS virus. The matches will be Portugal's tenth and eleventh games in the build-up to next summer's European Championship.
Dutch draw
Nine more warm-up games are planned ahead of the finals next summer. In Portugal's last friendly international at the end of April they drew 1-1 with the Netherlands in Eindhoven.
