Double-header
The Italian Football Federation has arranged two international friendlies in the space of four days for Giovanni Trapattoni's side, who qualified for Portugal by winning Group 9. The Azzurri will play Poland in Warsaw on 12 November, before facing Romania at Ancona Calcio's Stadio Del Conero the following Sunday. Both games will kick off at 20.45CET.
Unbeaten records
Italy will be aiming for their first win in five matches in Poland, having drawn three and lost one. However, they are unbeaten at home against Romania, with their most recent victory coming in a 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifier. Neither opponent qualified for EURO 2004™.
