Austria set friendly dates

Co-hosts Austria will play friendly games against the Netherlands, Ghana, Scotland and Ivory Coast as part of their final preparations for UEFA EURO 2008™.

Josef Hickersberger's team will take on against Ghana at the UPC Arena in Graz on 24 March next year and will then face Scotland at the Hanappi Stadium in Vienna on 30 May. Ivory Coast will be the visitors to the Tivoli Neu stadium in Innsbruck on 17 October while a match against the Netherlands has been arranged for 26 March 2008, although the Austrian Football Association have yet to confirm a venue for the final fixture. A return match will be played before 2011 under the agreement between Austria and the Netherlands.
