Norway 3-0 Sweden
Perfect start
For new Norway coach Åge Hareide it was the perfect start to his reign. His team dominated from the outset and took the lead just before half-time with a Frode Johnsen header. Two second-half goals from striker Håvard Flo wrapped up a comfortable victory.
'Listened to gameplan'
"The players had listened to my gameplan, and they did exactly what they were told. The boys were very good today," said Hareide.
Few pointers
For Sweden's co-coaches Lars Lagerbäck and Tommy Söderberg the match offered few pointers ahead of the UEFA European Championship in Portugal. Just two regulars from the qualifiers, Andreas Isaksson and Mikael Nilsson, were involved while four new caps, Mikael Antonsson, Martin Ericsson, Mats Rubarth and Johan Arneng, had little chance to shine.
'Norway were better'
"We tried to raise our game in the second half, but to be honest there wasn't much to do. Norway were better than us today, and were the stronger side," said Lagerbäck.
