Porto clash
The teams were due to meet on 18 February this year, but the fixture was postponed after they were paired together in Group D at UEFA EURO 2004™. They will play each other in Porto on 16 June. Germany will now take on Croatia in Zagreb on the same day, while the Netherlands will face the United States in Amsterdam.
Change of date
The Netherlands have also brought back their home 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Czech Republic to 8 September 2004. It was originally scheduled to take place four days earlier. The Czechs are also in Group D in Portugal along with Latvia.
