Daniel Gygax and Stéphane Grichting could make their full Switzerland debuts next week after being called into Jacob Kuhn's squad for the friendly against fellow UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifiers Greece in Crete.
Grichting chance
AJ Auxerre defender Grichting - who turns 25 the day before the 31 March match in Greece - has earned a regular place in Guy Roux's side over the last few months. He previously played in the Swiss squad which reached the 2002 UEFA European Under-21 Championship semi-finals. Gygax, meanwhile, has been in goalscoring form for FC Zürich.
Lonfat recalled
With defender Murat Yakin and midfield players Johann Vogel and Christoph Spycher all ruled out, Kuhn has recalled Johann Lonfat. The FC Sochaux Montbéliard midfield player's last cap came in the 3-1 home defeat by Canada in May 2002.
