'A key player'
"Rosický is a key player for us, yet he has played only one half this year due to illness and injuries. It is important to involve him along with Pavel Nedved," coach Karel Brückner explained.
U-21 announcement
The BV Borussia Dortmund midfield player is also likely to be in the U-21 party, to be announced on Friday. If so, he will fly to Switzerland for the third match against Greece. "It will be the right moment for him to enter the fray. I just hope it won't be the last game of the tournament for us," Brückner added.
Boost for Bolf
The national team's other youngsters - Petr Cech, Zdenek Grygera, Tomáš Hubschman, Štepan Vachoušek and Milan Baroš - are free to play for the U-21s.
