Armenia will face Latvia in an international friendly in Riga on 21 August after Bulgaria, Latvia's original opponents, accepted an offer to play Germany on the same day instead.
Preparation game
Armenia offered Latvia the chance to fly to Yerevan and play there, but this proposal was refused. Instead, Armenia will travel to Riga as both sides limber up for their EURO 2004™ qualifying campaigns.
EURO 2004™ groups
Latvia have been drawn in Group 4 alongside Hungary, Poland, San Marino and Sweden, while Armenia are in Group 6 with Greece, Northern Ireland, Spain and Ukraine.
