Lithuanian national coach Benjaminas Zelkevicius has named his squad for their friendly against Yugoslavia in Belgrade on 17 April.
Multinational team
Injury has already deprived Zelkevicius of SL Benfica forward Edgaras Jankauskas and FK Akratitos goalkeeper Gintaras Stauce, but he is still able to call on players currently with teams in Russia, Italy, Ukraine, Denmark, Scotland, Israel, Greece, Latvia and Germany.
Germany opener
Poor away form hampered Lithuania's chances of making the 2002 FIFA World Cup and they are keen to improve their form prior to their first EURO 2004™ qualifier at home to Germany in September. Their other Group 5 opponents are Faroe Islands, Iceland and Scotland.
