Thurre back in Swiss fold

Switzerland coach Koebi Kuhn has recalled Servette FC striker Leonard Thurre for next week's EURO 2004™ qualifier against Georgia.

N'Kufo absent
Thurre will replace Blaise N'Kufo, who announced his international retirement after being left out of the starting lineup for last week's 3-2 friendly win against Austria.

Only change
The 24-year-old, who has three caps, is the only change to Kuhn's 18-man squad for the the Group 10 match against Georgia, which will take place in Basel on 8 September. He has not played for the national side since breaking his leg last August, while a calf injury kept him out of the start of the current season.
